Program Overview
First established as the HHS Centre for Evidence‑Based Implementation (CEBI) in 2016, this program became the Knowledge Mobilization stream of the HHS Knowledge Centre in 2025. Its purpose is to ensure that evidence‑based recommendations are effectively translated into routine clinical practice across HHS.

Core Activities
The program identifies effective strategies for implementing proven best practices and ensuring their long‑term sustainability. Knowledge mobilization efforts focus on bridging the gap between published evidence and real‑world clinical application. The knowledge mobilization team contributes to a wide range of projects at varying levels of involvement, from advisory support to fully integrated partnerships, depending on the needs and capacity of each initiative.

Capacity Building & Collaboration
Multidisciplinary collaboration is central to the program’s approach. Teams across HHS receive support to address clinical challenges and improve patient outcomes, patient experience, processes of care, and system performance. This program works with diverse clinical areas across the organization, offering flexible engagement models that allow teams to access the level of support they need.

Impact & Institutional Contribution
Through its implementation science expertise, the program advances healthcare delivery across the organization. Its work strengthens HHS’s ability to adopt evidence‑based practices, contributing to improved care quality and system performance.
